Vehicle tax is sometimes called car tax, but it is paid for most types of vehicle; cars, lorries, buses, motorcycles, tractors, motor vehicles (with a maximum operating weight of more than 2000 kg), trailers (with a total weight of more than 750 kg) and heavy off-road vehicles. All motorcycles have a flat tax of SEK 180 per year.
