Calculate the cost ofmortgage deeds . When you buy a property (not a condominium) or extend the mortgage on the property you already own, you must "buy" a mortgage for the amount you need to borrow.
When you buy a property, mortgage deeds come with it from previous owners, and you only need to redeem the mortgage deeds for the part of the mortgage that exceeds these. (If previous liens exceed your mortgage, you don't need an additional lien at all.)
Mortgage deeds are stored digitally in the Land Survey's property register. Old mortgages on paper can be converted to computer mortgages at the Land Survey
