Calculate Unemployment Insurance

Calculate how much (income-based) compensation you can get from the unemployment insurance fund ( unemployment benefit ). The A-fund is a maximum of 80% of your salary for 200 days, then a maximum of 70% of your salary for another 100 days. There are certain possibilities to extend the compensation period.

Please note that during 2020-2022 temporary rules apply due to Covid-19. Read more here. The calculation below is adapted to these temporary rules.

The A fund is calculated on the average income you have had in the last year.

There are also other conditions for you to be able to receive social security, for example you have been a member of a social security for a certain time, have had a job for a certain period, etc. If you do not meet the requirements, you can receive compensation according to a lower basic amount.

Unlike parental allowance , you always receive daily allowance five days per week.
